These are some random pics of my inlaws house. It's 45 min south of Guadljara on lake Chappla. From here we traveled west for 3 hours to the bed and breakfest on the Pasific ocean to the town of Cuyutlan.

These are pics of the bed and breakfast we stayed in that a good friend of ours just opened. We were his first guests. Cuyutlan has the only beach in Mexico with black sand. It is because in 1934 a under water volcano erupted and resluting sunumie (sp) washed it all in. It wiped the village of the face of the earth killing everyone

Yes we did except on the Pacific it was f'in hot 90-95 with 110% humity

Nice pics. There is black sand also in the pacific NW beaches. It is covered with the light sand. When the wind blows from inland long enough, it is blown out to sea. It is very dense and can be driven on by any car.

I may have missed something, did you drive your xj down there? And when did you go? I love driving down to Mexico, but with all the drug cartels and violence I hear about I don't know it it's wise to drive there anymore. But it looks like you had a great time.
