A little history about how i got here and sorry I'm long winded:
I live in Fresno and like to go camping up in the Sierra's with my twin 6 year old girls. Up untill about a week ago my transportation for get through the woods was a 05 F-150 2wd 4dr long wheel base. It did ok on the forrest roads but some trails were kinda hairy. So I decided I needed something more capable so that I wouldn't spend camping time trying to get unstuck!
I looked into CJ/Wranglers, but didn't like the lack of storage room. Looked into Toyota FJ's but didn't like the price tag. Starting seeing a lot of XJs fixed up really nice, plenty of room and reasonably priced.

Soo, 2 weeks ago I traded my Harley for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee that has had quite a bit of modification done to it. So much in fact I am not sure what some things are for.

That when I decided to join a site with experts such as yourselves becuase there is a whole bunch that I just dont know.

So I appologize if you seen my posts asking dumb questions, because there will probably be a lot!

The previous owner kept pretty decent records so I will try and post all the goodies it has so i can get an honest opinion of what I have.
