Women, you just never know. No loyalty whatsoever. My granddaughter has gone from wanting one of these:

to wanting one of these:

But we decided she doesn't get the 460 that was ear marked for it. :sign0181:

With the mighty mite she wanted some one else to build it. With the model T she wants to build it herself! Motivated to, we spent the evening looking for body to frame Mounts and floor boards. Found them online 50 dollars for both. We will see how far this gets. I still have to go through the headache of getting a California title.

So should we put a live front axle in it so she can take it with us camping?

Emily says no grandpa you can't make this one a 4wd. I agree not a coupe, it would look bad. She can however learn to build a four link suspension. That would work much better than the stock set up.
On another note parts catalogs have been ordered today. I see a body mount kit in the future soon.

When teaching her to drive, use a stick shift. Then she can drive anything.

No automatics in that family. Paul calls them atomic transmissions

No worries there, she already knows how to work a clutch. I told if you want to learn to drive you have to learn to use a clutch. No atomic transmissions at dads house.

Nothing wrong with her wanting to build up a classic like that!! Look forward to seeing some progress on that build... even if it isn't a Jeep.... Hey, and if she puts enough effort into building it up... maybe a massaged 302/351... or even the 460 could find it's way into it as a surprise!!
