1998 green XJ sport at copart salvage auction, unknown mileage, vandalism claim, broken column, bought it off the auction pictures $125.00 was the winning bid. Auction fee's , a bit of grease to the guy who bid for me and a tow home $300.00

It just got delivered,.. I boosted it and it fired right up. Seems it needs a set of keys and ign tumbler, rear seat belt and a battery,.. Pretty good shape 330,000kms but purrs :)

Runs excellent! It's the one big patch o rust in the D/S rear quarter that may be an issue for resale,...

Have to look at this ca$h/time invested vs return, can't do them like I did the silver 2000

gotcha. I see how the rust can create a huge setback. You could always take the engine for a future project.

The 95 sounds pretty mean with extractors and no exhaust after it....

Just need to strip them now, they have between 208 and 270,000kms which is pretty normal for this vintage here...

It is pretty loud, I am going to try and fit a muffler to it on the weekend so I can test the aircon and the power steering etc so I can sell them...

Broken non tilt column out, new tilt column in, all locks swapped!

Now a few little things,... Oil pressure sending unit needs to be swapped, hood release and one rear belt needs to be replaced.

I have two people lined up for it already,..
