See?! I've been saying it for years now... electric cars are dangerous! Sorry about your rig.

Maybe her gas pedal got stuck... I know they had those issues with the Prius' for a bit... and drivers that were too slow to think to turn the key off... LOL.. Looks like they were driving a company car of some sorts, so you should def be able to get something.. not like you don't have enough parts to get that taken care of... but still sucks to see... Hope you get to feeling better..

Woah. Looks like the Prius' are starting to get fed up with all of our "Jeep vs. Prius" jokes! Cheap shot though, hitting from behind while we aren't even moving. I'm actually quite shocked that the front of that car didn't explode into a million pieces.

Sorry you're sore bud. I know how you feel. Any other damage aside from the bumper? Hope you feel better soon.

That is the cleanest phoking MJ I've ever seen. I want one! And I'm sorry to hear/see/read about your situation.
As for my Prius comments. I test drove one b/c my g/f and I were looking for a new family car. It drives like dung, it feels horrible inside, and it's too quiet. I just dislike the car. And they don't even get that good of gas mileage. Ended up with a VW TDi that we're getting 55mpg.

Never understood why people go for the prius, ugly as ... Especially when there's the TDI VWs that get better mileage. Even if it was for "environmentally friendly" ways, its actually FAR worse than most vehicles in the long run due to the batteries.

Plus the Cruze Eco around $23k fully loaded, you can get around 48 mpg if you don't want to pay for diesel. It's got a turbo and it's not a hybrid.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, Jenssen :D

No worries ,.. Hell I have thought about a TDI swap into one of the Jeeps,...

As for the 88 manche it has one tiny dent from the bumper end cap ,. May have a few scratches on the under side of the tail gate.

The bumper is totally fawkered, but between the bumper and brackets they did what they were supposed to do and absorbed the impact and left the unibody completely untouched with zero damage. No comes the battle with the insurance company,...

Day 4 still sore in very odd spots, had a RMT do her work on some still muscles last night,.. It did help but I am really looking forward to the chiropractor.

Having a hell of a time finding a new OEM bumper and brackets in Canada. Thought about a roll pan with a home built DOM reinforcement behind it,... ;)

It may seem hard but making a good one is relatively easy if you can weld. I made both front and rear bumpers for my XJ and since I cant find a rear bumper am planning to make one for the MJ.

Oh I have a tube bender , shear, rollers , a brake, MIG and stick machine all at my disposal,.. But I wanted to keep a very clean stock look and this job is one that should be taken care of by the insurance company not me :)
