So I was on my way to the shop and a u-joint that was giving me issues. Well today it went south while I was doing 70mph. First was the vibs then the wonderful bang sound as it wedged it self in the yoke. So I pull over and luck me the drive shaft finial dropped out at 5mph as I was pulling over. After a little more digging I had to replace drive shaft, u-joints, and the yoke on pinion.

So if you look at top photo close you will see that the cup and yoke on drive shaft are smashed. And on second photo look at the left of yoke and the tab thats suppose to be there is also gone. I think I got very lucky on this one:morningcoffee:

Well I almost had a un-smart drive almost hit me on the shoulder

I had that happen to me 2 times now I replace the u-joints every 2yr. they are quick and easy and I keep the old one for spers for on the trail if I need them or anyone als.

Nice I picked up serviceable u-joints but got el cheapo for this repair. :D

I know right front drive line at slow speed to get home. Gotta love a jeep :D
