I have one of those Jeep brand cup holders my wife got me for a birthday present probably 10 years ago. It worked, but was designed for the parking brake area in front of the console box. I couldn't really use the parking brake which was not the best since I had a 5 speed at the time. I later cut the bottom off it and put it on the side, like some factory versions. However, only one drawback remained. It would only hold small pop cans or the Xlarge fountain drinks. New container sizes have come out since then. So I got to thinking I just needed some extensions. So I clipped and rolled some aluminum and came up with this.

It now holds both sizes of pop cans

Quart and liter bottles

And of course the most important cup to take camping.

I realize that most of you cannot do what I have tools for. But you can make a similar thing with 3" ABS or PVC pipe for the small side and the fitting for the large side. Then you can glue everything together

Nice work! How did you attach/adhere it to the factory holder?
