Appreciate the welcome, also appreciating the general lack of buffoonery on this forum. I've been browsing the other forums for a while and have become tired of reading the peanut gallery remarks, the atmosphere here seems to quell the nonsense and promote learning, I look forward to digging deeper into the site and eventually contributing when I am able.

Pictures will have to wait for now, I am currently in Afghanistan. '98 Cherokee SE Chili Pepper Red with the typical clear coat issues onthe hood and fenders, compliments of the Texas sun. Sitting at about 150K when I left it, though my father in law has been using it off and on so it isnt sitting. 4 door 4.0 5 Speed stock in every aspect of the term, for now. Plans are to build it moderately. Stage 1: Repair vacuum system to get AC and cruise control functioning properly again as well as replace the heater core Stage 2: CAI, header and exhaust system, and injectors. Stage 3: lift and new tires Stage 4: Bumpers and skid plate build, frame stiffeners ext. Most likely it will be a slow build, but we will see how it shapes up.

Awesome man. Sounds like a great plan. Good that you got someone taking care of it too. Don't worry about the pics, we'll see em when you get home. Thank you very much for service and stay safe over there.
