I stumbled onto this site just by searching xj forums.
I just bought a 1999 xj 4.0L with a 4.5" rough country lift and just bought the rough country quick disconnect kit, just waiting for it to arrive. i am new to jeeps and not sure what my next step should be.

I just bought a 1999 xj 4.0L with a 4.5" rough country lift and just bought the rough country quick disconnect kit, just waiting for it to arrive. i am new to jeeps and not sure what my next step should be.

:welcome: to the site! Personally I'd check every bolt on that suspension system. Many people install their own lifts, many don't go back and check to see how tight everything is after 500 miles.

Now is a great time to go over the Jeep and make sure you find the problem before you're off road. :thumbsup:

im gonna check out a spot this weekend, i'll make sure to tighten everything up before i do and take a ton of pictures
