Hi,

I picked up a 1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo a few months ago to have as a project on the weekends. So far so good got it running and now tore it back down going through various componets. The XJ had been sitting for three years, parked because of a big oil leak with an unknown origin, OD shows over 300K. Paid 700.00 bucks for the whole thing and it was complete, i could not pass it up. No stranger to jeeps owned a 1975 CJ5 that i fixed up played with then sold and owned a 2000 Jeep cherokee sport for awhile. Liked the XJ so much decided to get another one.

Im' looking foward to the info i can read and get from other XJ owners. Found you guys on a google search, the page looked like what i was looking for.

I wanted to post a question about a timing chain and get some advice, where would the best place be to post and get responses?
