i went to put the new seal but there is a orange ring in side what do i do with that i took them out but now i cant find them not even in the dealer what do i do

I need a little more info here. Could you be more specific on what seal you are trying to replace and more specific on the orange ring

I belive its just silicon for the axle tube just put a good bead on it then put the axle seals in that's what I done on mine.

is the orange ring that goes on the is side of the axle tube what does that do

thats what i was thinking.............tis a soft compound

I tore mine a little but put some high temp on it doesn't leak
