So the 1st image is how I pulled out the sway bar. This is the end where the quick disco's connect to.

First pic should be right. That is non OEM aftermarket sway bar bracket on the sway bar. I am assuming a bushing goes in there for the disconnect.

I did a google image search, but nothing gave me that kinda detail. Which is what I need. I swore there was a bushing that went in between that "U" shaped and the end of the sway bar. Of end of the sway bar even have this divit that looks like something belongs in there.

Those are RE quick disconnects yeh? I like those better than JKS that I have. I'll be ditching the whole setup for a currie style setup, but I want to piece it together b/c it's a few hundred cheaper. I swore there was a bushing in there. Oh well. Thanks guys, much appreciated.

During the "maiden voyage" today, I used the Rusty's? disconnects, and found my sway bar bushing frame mounts were SHOT.:rolleye0012:

And the PO did not use anything to attached the discos up and out of the way so I used zip ties.....and found out that rubbed at close to full lock.

What are the disconnects supposed to attach to?

And if I want to change the bushings, best replacements?

First thing on the replacements is measure your swaybar. There were several different sizes used. I decided to go with poly bushings. I went with Energy Suspensions set that included the brackets, which are much beefier than the stock stamped steel pieces.

Got it....so are bungie cords the best thing on the disconnects? I used zip ties, which are not....elegant?

Guess I'll get the new bushings and mounts and then see. I want to run the swaybar on pavement, not ready to lay out the $$ for a Currie Anti-Rock...

Bungies work pretty good. Really there's no right or wrong way, just personal preference.
