If the lift worked before, it will work again. If he had bump stops, take them even if you don't use them. Compare lengths of shocks with yours just for giggles. Most guys can get by with stock shocks, but if longer you might want to get some longer ones if you are going beyond "temporary"

So basically I'd need to use the pucks and the add a leafs? Nothin else?

Yes, are these pucks spacers or hockey pucks off the spring pad?

Are those spacer blocks between the spacers and coils?

The add a leaves look like they are loosing their arch. They won't lift it as high as they are supposed to. Good score on the coils though.

Are those drop brackets on the lower right?

yeah those are spacer blocks, and yes those are drop brackets.. But would that work as far as just lifting it a little?

If you are lifting a little, you won't need the drop brackets. Do you know how much lift the coils give?

I'm pretty sure the coils are for a 4 inch lift but i could be wrong, theyre huge. My buddy told me theyre either a 4 or a 6 but im not sure.

With a 4" lift, yes you will need the drop brackets. I would stick with that. Also, you didn't get the extended U bolts with those blocks. Now that I see what you have, you have an excellent start. If you can grab the track bar, do so. You will need one or you can relocate the holes in the axle bracket about an inch to compensate. I would suggest not using that add a leaf and grabbing some S10 rear leaves and make a bastard pack using the XJ main leaf and see how it sits. And as for your original question, yes you will need to get some longer shocks and brake lines. So if you can grab those brake lines, do so.

The ones I mentioned are what you will need. Get your ducks in a row first, otherwise your Jeep will be down till you do. Also factor in a front end alignment after it is done.

You need to check and see if the "U" bolts that attach the leaves to the rear axle are long enough. Also if that's a 4" lift with the coils, you'll need to extend the brake lines down an inch or so.

Not necessarily. But in this aspect, every jeep is different. He most likely will get some vibes... It would be wise to change the rear DD u joint. That would help with driveline vibes.
