View Full Version : Sketchy mounting points??

I found this on ebay and it'll be a bit cheaper than the IRO tow bar that Ive been looking at. Only ting I'm weary about is the mounting holes.. Doesn't seem to be enough to sustain proper recovery strength on the shackles..

I am the high bidder as of right now, but I can retract my bid if need be. I dont want to buy junk that'll rip out if snatched.

looks good to me except no winch mounting point

Yep on the winch mounts. However the standard mounting is 4.5" x 10" so maybe you could drill holes for a winch. You could also build plating into that bumper

If I get it, down the road, I will just weld/bolt on a winch plate when I am ready to install a winch. would that work?

you could always get a winch mount for the 2 inch receiver... Good thing I dont have enough money for this at the moment or I might be bidding with you lol

Haha I legit hesitated posting it here as to not attract other potential buyers driving up the price. Ya, I watch storage wars! Haha
