Lift kit problems

ok, i have everything i need for a lift on my cherokee.. the only problem is the shocks that i had for this lift were pretty much screwed. Is there anyway that i can get 4 inch shocks from a junkyard or anything becaue i have absolutely no money haha.

I believe JK wrangler shocks will mount up with little modification and are good with 4 inch lifts. But let someone confirm that knows more about it. Oh, and i also have heard they are a bit stiffer.
