Howdy all,

My name is Mike and I have a 2001 XJ with about 180K. Just this past month a whole lot started going wrong with it. I don't have a lot of loot so I figured I would start working on the Jeep myself. I have enough tools where I can build a house, but had zero mechanic tools so I got myself some tools and went to work. Changed out starter, rotors and brake pads last week and the jeep seemed to be okay, but just last night I couldn't get to start. So here I am. Looking forward to learning lots.

The first place to start looking is the crank position sensor, a common ailment when not starting.
