Hi I live in the UK and have had my 2000/1 XJ for about six years I do not use it that much so it only has about 85000 on the clock and it has no rust in it at all. It is a 4ltr auto running on LPG most of the time it has been lifted 2" using springs no spacers the only other mods are a big bull bar on the front and a recovery hook I also had a tow bar fitted but replaced the tow hook with a bar and shackle as I do not have anything to tow and if I reverse in to anything it saves my NCB. I forgot to say its also got BFG - AT tyres on it.

Thanks all the mane problem with living in the UK is lack of space being it tends to be go to pay and play places or green lanes the pay and play places seem to be mostly getting covered in mud not my thing I prefer a bit of rock crawling I do envy you living in the US or other places with lots of open space but in the end we have to make the most of what we have got (JEEPS)

You are right Pat. I see everything as down sized there. But it is a matter of perspective. When I read European history, I have to remember it all happened in places as small as states here.
