hopefully not the women too. :smiley-scared002:
That jeep is just too damn hot that nothing would dare to ding it.

Didn't you know that the Texas Motto is: Everything in Texas is bigger and better.

Actually the moto is "Everything is Bigger in Texas" I think the "better" is implied and subjective to your own personal experiance. :smiley-talk024:
Oh and you're concerned about flat, but not about the muddy? :smiley-laughing021:

Thank you. The mud won't hurt it. I don't do the rocks, or bounce off of trees like you hard core people.

Can't remember if I've asked before, but can you run down the road with the red led's on?

Yes but the battery is heavy and the wires will chafe.

For the first 7 years of marriage my wife called me an a$$. Now she uses the whole word! But I keep her laughing.
I recently asked a Texas police officer that it also a jeeper. He said that as long as the RED lights were not directly visible from the front or the rear I was ok. After seeing some of the older pictures I had taken with the LED lights on he just said it looked good.
Now that wouldn't stop a police officer from pulling me over and giving me a ticket, it just may get dismissed. I don't normally run them anyway. People want to race my slow jeep when I do. lol

I have decided to re-paint my Red XJ Red because of you Muddy! Or maybe it is because it is alot cheaper, easier, & quicker to get done.http://www.xjtalk.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I would want white led's underneath so I could continue wheeling with a spotter late at night near sunset (done that b4) - DO you have a thread showing how u installed it?
BlueXJ

I have (of course) a Blue XJ but my MJ is red and when it gets re-painted next year I am planning on staying with the red color, maybe a Chevy Camaro red that I like as that is what I painted the motorcycle a few years back and it has held up well. Pickup and car are white but that is more for the heat as white reflects better than a darker color.
My other motorcycle is black and that was a mistake which I will not do again. Leave it in the sun for 10 minutes and it will burn you when you get back on.

It never has been really muddy. You know the 2 hours to clean muddy. Just a little mud a couple of times.
Everything is working now, so I need a buddy, or a winch, or both.
I suspect that here in the next few weeks I'll be heading up North of Houston to that place I told you guys about. 250 acres of trails, and my buddy that invited me has a Ford full sized, 12.5" lift and a winch. As long as I don't get stuck where he can't fit, I'll be fine.
Plan on doing stills and video on that run.

lol I don't think that will be a problem but I don't want to start inviting people to private property on the first time out. Besides you are missing a drive shaft aren't you? :rotfl2:
