I have a red xj 98, 302k miles. Bone stock. Have done regular maintenance myself for the past 2 or 3 years now. I love the car. So far I have done rear main seal, leaf springs, shocks, one broken valve spring, distributor, tune ups, radiator changes, heater core, lock up solenoid. This week I am finally replacing all the tie rod ends, sway bar links and bushings, steering stabilizer. I am keeping everything stock.. Hopefully when the kids are out of college I'll be able to get a second one for trail. Engine runs well for now.
