Alright I'm sick of the bumper corners up front, literally flapping around and looks terrible. I took a peek and I noticed the end isn't enclosed so that'll look bad too if I just took them off. So anybody know a simple cost effective or crafty idea? Is rather not have the covers on and I see a few keeps without em. Thanks for your time c:

Wow, never had that question asked. I think your only option there is to just replace them. The wrecking yard is your friend here I think. I am not sure you could even buy new ones. Nothing is really made to fit in their place, at least none that I have seen

BTW Welcome to the forum

Most guys just throw them away. Might just be a guy thing :D

BTW, welcome Michele

Most guys that take em off cut the bumper at an angle for a cooler look but still free:)

Shh that looks nice. The ends are still open though I'm assuming? For some reason that idea doesn't sound appealing then again it a jeep ahah

Yeah, open on the sides. Although i have seen one that cut down the corners to just a flat end. I'll see if i can find the pic.

My bumper end caps have been gone for a long time. If you trim the front fender section in front of the tire even with the grill, it looks way better.

Oh, oh. The Jeep bug looks like it very close to the big bite. The flares can go. There are a number of members here that have removed them.

I would def say remove the end caps and cut the angle on the bumper.. yes it is still open, but it looks way better as shown above.. that is what I'll be doing with mine until I can get an aftermarket bumper

Amber, here is a link from one of our members. He trimmed the front fender even with the bottom of the grill, as many of us have. It makes a real difference in the look of the front. Also he raised the flare up a little. Larger fender openings make the Jeep look a little more aggressive.

Pull your flares, Cut the fenders up higher and slice the bumper at an angle. I'm finishing mine tomorrow morning!!
