I am finally selling stuff left over from the '99 parts XJ I disassembled. I sold some parts to a guy who is rebuilding a Comanche. Not sure what year but I think it is a pre '97 since he said the front grill and header panel I sold him is more of an upgrade than the right part. He asked me if I have the driver side door which I do have. Question, will a driver's side door from a '99 Cherokee fit a pre '97 Comanche? Also, what would the door be worth? It is in good shape, no rust and no dents and the door panels is in good condition.

Yes they will fit unless its a two door xj. I hate to price someone else's parts but around here at pick and pull the doors fully dressed go for $50.00 each.

When my 1998 was about 3 months old it rained for the first time and I found the passenger front would lock up pretty easy. I ran into the back of a Comanche that pulled out in front of me. No damage. Still what's the odds!

I think you have to change out the striker pin, otherwise i think its all good. Wiring might be a problem, if its got the power options.

I'll be doing this swap one day. You upgrade to one piece windows, newer door panels, and the newer (bigger) mirrors.
