I want to have and axle big enough and strong enough to run 40" TSL boggers if any body knows anything just hit me up I'm new at this but I'm trying to learn a few tricks and trades here and there

For 40" tires you might want to jump right to 1 ton axles, though a set of 3/4 tons might do it for a fairly light vehicle like the XJ. Nothing in this range will be bolt on, some custom mounts will be in order.

The axels you need will be dependent on what you are wheeling in. And as said, nothing will be bolt in unless you spend some really big bucks

I made the mistake of using a 44/60 combo for mine and they barely hold my 38s with chromolly shafts and I have broken them. 60 front and either a sterling 10.5 or 14 bolt rear. If you can afford it a super 60 front with an 8 lug conversion would be great as would a front 14 bolt. Running a 40" Bogger is going to require more than just bigger axles because those things weigh a ton and you'll need to beef up the unitbody or plan on ripping off some mounts. Found that out the hard way as well.

If I were gonna run 40's I'd want a kingpin D60 front and a full float 14bolt rear. The 14bolt is easy to find, expect to drop major coin for a D60 king pin front though.
