:out: I'm getting 3 inch rough country lift, should i get it with or without control arms? not sure what the point is can i use the stock ones. I plan to add a 2.25 inch coil spacer and a leaf to get about 4.5 inchs or so of lift will i need new control arms for the 3 inch lift? i know i'll get them once i get the spaces. and are add a leafs really as bad as people say they are? thanks for the help amigos

I would wait to get control arms until you got up to the 4.5" lift range. And depending on how you want it to wheel, maybe go ahead and get long arms, instead of beefing up your short arms.

Just a thought.

If you are adding that much, you should get the control arms for a 5.5" lift. The reason is that much addition will throw your castor angle off and make you prone to death wobble. Once you get that far up, you really need to start thinking about a kit for that height. It will be fewer headaches down the road and the cost will be about the same. You will also need longer brake lines, different track bar and a SYE to go with that. What are your plans for the rear?
