Wayne. If I look at the pic just right, it looks like the piston is out far enough that it has cocked itself a little. I would take it off and take the line loose, get a drift and MFH (medium hammer) and do some tapping on it. Get it straight and then it will probably go in.

Hey Mate, rebuild kits are about 20 bucks here, with piston included. You might be able to locate some on the net that are over in phil's or Guam. Those should be cheeper shipping than having em come from the states.

well brought a piston , caliper spreader.....but then remembered i have spare parts........and calipers included ....sweeeeeet...put it all back together just to find hole that bolt goes to stripped.....so today as its raining and no work got the heli-coil kit out and fixed it...every jeepa should have a kit sweet bit of gear........

Master cylinder is not so hot now. Just a suggestion, take it off and take it apart. Just a couple of bolts and a snap ring. Pull the guts out and clean up everything with brake cleaner. Reassemble and bench bleed. Might do the trick.

yeah thats my next thing.....no rush , just put it on the list....thanks steve

Wayne, just a suggestion. The Mighty Mite has a vent hose on the master cylinder to the air cleaner. Makes it completely waterproof. You would need one for each part. Might be handy for water sports.

coolies...think i found problem.....quote....

Turn the calipers over by swapping them from side to side so the bleed screw is above the brake line.

ive put the wrong caliper on........bleed screw is above the brake line ...but not on the one i swapped.....
