Well, yeah, it is hot in Houston.
Yesterday my XJ was parked in the driveway, windshield was fine. A few minutes later, the windshield looked like someone took a deadblow hammer and hit it right where the rear view mirror is. Sun must have got the metal on the mirror too hot and the windshield shattered right there in the center. So now it is new windshield time!
