xjtalk embroidered hat - Interest?

I ordered a "test" hat today. If it looks as good as I suspect I'll be placing an order depending on your interest.

When we went down the "t-shirt" road (which we never completed) everyone liked black best. Black is not a great color for a fat boy in the sun, so I don't like it to much. But that's what the majority wanted...

So what about the base color of the hat? I can order different colors but I need to get an idea what the interest is. The logo is the same logo you see in the upper left hand corner of our site.

So what I'm wanting to know is what color do you want the hat?

I'm going to limit it to three colors.

Black
Beige
White

Please vote on which one of those colors you like the best, if you have strong feelings about another color please post it, we may add or change a color if there is enough support for it.

Probably, but shipping is going to be more due to the handling and only shipping one item at a time.

... as theres plain ol cheapo caps ... and some that actually have a bit of "design" style.

The local jeep forum down here used a beigy colour with dk brown trimming - that I thought looked respectable enough, to buy a couple of.

Personally, I like black caps so they won't show black finger prints. Something I have especially when wheeling or in the shop

If its a dark beige then that, if not i'd like black. I wear hats all the time and light color hats (such as white or yellow) get very dirty looking very quick.

A suggestion, maybe a saying on the back. Like "All XJs, All The Time" or "Keeping Cherokees On And Off The Road Since 2009" or "Cherokees, Modifications, Laughter, Kiwis, What More Could You Want?"

I've ordered a beige one, so when it gets here I'll be putting up a picture. It will also let me see the quality of the fabric used in the hat. I'm sure black will look fine as long as the fabric and quality of the embroidery is good.

I would use a Dickies work shirt, you can buy them in bulk cheap on line I got 6 of them for here at $8.00 ea. I think it was Denium Express.

I have ordered a black hat. If it looks good we'll be order a lot of 48 hats. About 60% black and 40% beige. The estimated cost to purchase will be $15 shipped anywhere in the U.S.A. Final price to be determined, but I suspect $15 will be the price.

Yep, it will be PayPal and on the store when it's ready to be sold. I still have to receive the "test" black hat, confirm it meets my rigorous standards :D and then order 48 hats. I think we'll be into mid August before we take orders, although I may start taking orders after I place my order.

lol The same company has a order and ship program directly to the person that is buying the item. I'm concerned that the price will be too high since they'll be doing all the work, but I'm going to check into it. This might be the perfect solution for the more substantial shirts, but I believe the t-shirts will be much cheaper for me to order a bunch and have them shipped to me.

Also I plan on doing some more Houston area meet and greets. I'd like to be able to have hats, stickers, cups, and t-shirts available for those, or out on the trail.

I ordered a beige test hat, and because there was a much bigger interest in black hats, I ordered a black test hat. Test hats because ordering hats is expensive so I didn't want to be sitting on dozens of poorly made hats.

I could tell the quality of the hat and the embroidery from the first hat but I was concerned about the black border and shadow on the black hat. Black on black. They used gray instead. So now that I've seen it, and received feedback here, I'll be able to order the full batch.

I still need to verify shipping but I'm estimating the hats will be $17 shipped anywhere in the U.S., but they will be in the xjtalk store when they are ready to be purchased.
