i have a 1995 cherokee i need to change the evaporater i think that's what is called the heater in the dax
sh is it hard to change any one have any pic thank you all for your help

Adrian, you have to pull the dash to change it. It is the only way.

the hole dash and is it hard or just the taking out the dash

and if its the core leaking i did this......sold xj at xmas time,,was still sweet as......
if not core get ne banned.........good luck mate and keep us posted

Once you get to the point where you could take the heater core out, the evaporator core is next.

there are two houses in the motor that take water in side the jeep for the heater they are cap off if i put them on the water leaks in the jeep

do you need a heater in Miami...??????over the summer i disconnected mine when it was leaking on passenger floor..

no not in miami but i go north some time and at night it can get cold lolololol that's what mine does leaks on passenger floor..

Whoa! Hold it a minute here. Leaks on the passenger floor while using the AC and no other time? Then you have a plugged condensate drain. It is that little rubber tube that goes through the firewall to drain off condensation from the AC core. Common problem. Just unplug it.

no it does it all the time i have the heater hose disconekted if not all the water form the radiator will come in side the jeep
