Hi Basslicks, welcome to the xjtalk forum!

We would love to know more about you and your Jeep. How you found us, etc...

Check out "Announcements" "How to post an image" for help posting images.

Got a Wrangler? Maybe a friend with one? http://www.WranglerTalk.com/

Well, it's been almost 2 years since I joined, so I figured I may as well reply to my introduction thread (and revive a dead thread at the same time) to say...

Spank you... spank you very much!

I second the motion on hearing about your jeep and I raise that you put a pic (or two) up as eye candy....you know, since youve neglected us for 2 years

I've got a whole build thread going on cherokeeforum.com if you guys wanna check it out. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/welp-here-goes-project-slow-n-steady-178780/

This one isn't much special right now. As you can see in the link above, the build is called "Project Slow n Steady". I've done what I can with as limited funds as I have to make it not look stock, and I think I've done alright. I ended up getting another car during income tax season to help kick the build into a higher gear though. Still 2wd right now, but I have the trans and transfer case waiting to go in (AW4 & NP242).

Right now:
4.0 HO
2wd AW4
D35 Rear 3.55 gears
235/75r15 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S front, Wrangler Radial (AT) rear
Rear sway delete
Disco'd front
Front fenders trimmed (bushwacker style) and front fenders flares modified to be re-installed with trimmed fenders.
Carpet removed
Ugly and pointless OEM Trim delete
Black 15x8 Pacer D-window wheels
K&N FIPK
Brown Dog motor mounts
4300k HID lights w/ eBay MSR Housings
Homebrew rooftop lightbar
Front tow hooks
Rear hitch and d-ring receiver draw bar.
Cobra 19 LTD Classic CB
5' Century Class fiberglass whip

I throw y'all a couple of teaser pics I guess...

Here ya go...

Here's how she sits now.

Seein' how she does on the RTI being 2wd - 683 can't be too bad for stock height and no sways or bumpstops.

Early flex shot - still had front sway attached.

After better a tire upgrade but still had front sways.

And one more for Florida wheelers to relate to:

Oh, and the jeep's name is Cracker - in honor of the original Florida Crackers from the 1700's... look it up on Wikipedia for an interesting read.
