Here is one way to do it.

Also a set of bar pin eliminators may not be a bad thing to look into either.

Get a torch and heat it up and try with vise grips, or like I had to do cut a hole over the shock in the rear and get a extractor or vise grips and a torch DO NOT CUT IT! Just get it red hot and it should come right out. Then when you put them back together use anti-seize on the bolts, since I had to cut my floor out in back I used longer bolts and nuts to keep it tight then just covered my holes back up with sheet metal that's removable for the next time lol

Weld a nut on it, and remove it, the heat from the welder should loosen it up

use an air hammer and punch it out. If you do this replace with grade 8 5/16 bolt 1 1/2 inches long nut and lock washer.you can wrap wire around the bolt and feed it in from above. there on several writups on the different forums on doing this.

When I put my lift on mine, I snapped 3 of these. I had to drill and tap. It took a while to do, but it's doable.

Well , i finally got around to fixing the Jeep. i tried to drill the center , i wanted to tap it out. no luck. so i got out the hammer and started to beat the bolt out. went to 5/16 bolt with a lock nut. it was really easy. i do not know why i dreaded it.
thanks for all the info.
