Hi, I need a new front wheel bearing for my Cherokee 2.5d Orvis. I have looked on ebay.and found one for £65.00. But there is another that says it is for the cherokee XJ @ £59.99, it looks exactley the same. What is the difference. I thought the only difference with an Orvis was the interior trim.

Are all the front wheel bearings the same on all 1999 cherokees.

It appears that it depends on the rotors, Composite or cast. The hub for the Composite rotor is slightly more expensive.

No I have the same problem with our 1999. Otherwise I would have ordered a set of TimKen bearing already. I need to pull the wheel off and measure the rotor. Rockauto.com gives the sizes for the two different types of rotors.

I don't know if he ships overseas, but I got mine from Tony at 1AAuto. Just under $100 shipped. I will definitely go back to him if I need anything else. He's also a vendor on here. Here's a link to his profile, http://www.xjtalk.com/member.php?u=783 I'd send him a PM and see what he says.
