XJ seat switch?

my drivers seat on my 88 XJ has seen better days, i found a passenger seat out of a 97, my question is will the passenger seat bolt to the old 88 frame so i can use it on the drivers side?

Take some measuerments of the bolt pattern and see if it matches

The seat will bolt to the frame on either side. It is the frame, or pedestal if you will that is different to accommodate the hump over the tcase.
