So since the Dark side project is on hold till the lift kit, painter, other goodie show up. Here is what i've been doing with a buddy's truck

Its a 73 Ford F100 with a Crown Vic sub frame swap. He inherited this truck in gibbets. It was disassembled 13 years ago and stored on a back porch.

Enjoy

So it appears we are going to relocate the sub-frame about 1.5~2 inch back it looks too far forward to us

The donor truck showed up so it will be getting a triton 5.4 with all the trimmings.

Very cool. I wish I still had my '71 F-100 Sport Custom. Got totaled by dumb woman who pulled out in front of me on the hwy.

Aw, ya beat me to it Matt. I was gonna start one just like this.

Been doing a little up keep on my grandpas old '94 silverado. Just washed, waxed, polished chrome, lubed rubber and plastic on the exterior and tried some clear coat on the tail lights (really faded, it helped a little but not much). That is all for now.

wet sand those taillights. 300 grit, then 1500. buff/polish with Finesse it. should get their shine back.

working on: stock market shit so I can buy more jeep parts! and about to sell my boat so getting it ready to list.

Its a rubbing compound made by 3m. Works great but sure is pricy. Only place I've ever found it was at auto paint stores. Last bottle I bought was over $40
