View Full Version : Installation of Safari Snorkel

The snorkel is installed. For those with this configuration (1998+ABS) it's almost impossible to install the washer bottle that comes with the kit without removing or moving something (ABS, battery, etc).

Next steps: lift kit, swap rear axle, re gear front axle and lockers if the budget allows them.

good job mate...pita to install with abs.......i had a 95 so no issues......nervous before ya cut into ya fender....good mod a snorkel...

Yep, I installed as an insurance. Sometimes If there isn't another path you just have to follow or go back in reverse for a while :D

You can get a shorkle that leaves the stock washer bottle, but is no good if you have abs cause thats were it goes through the body.

When ya really get going and need some speed, shove it all the way up for "P" for pass. :D

:D I am working out how to put in a 6 speed that will hold up to mudding abuse instead.
