So, decided to make a thread dedicated to all the weird, bizzare and even cool/interesting things you find on craigslist. If there is already a thread going on this then delete/combine/whatever you do lol.

Keep it mostly car/truck/suv/jeep related...yes jeeps have their own category ;)

Heres one I found thatI fell in love with lol...if you can call it love

Old neighbor about 20 years ago had a amc pacer literally chained down to a fwd chassis. Not sure what it was but when he ran it in the back pasture, it leaned hard on turns. He did the same thing with a vega wagon on a bronco chassis, i'm not sure he ever owned a welder but he was proud of his sawzalls. Said chains saved time on changing bodies.

Some said genius - some said madman! Never boring in my neck of the woods, someone is occasionally doing something stupid, sorry i mean interesting. When i first moved up here they told me to watch out when it rains 'cause it washes all the trash down stream.

That one looks like a little work has been done on it. They were lower with smaller tires.

Yeah some of the biggest offenders have lots of money, union jobs and end loaders. Still doesn't stop em from starting fires with gasoline or the guy who had a sliding glass door installed on the second story in his room so he could run out and land in his above ground pool, mind you no deck on the house just a drop.

Old subie ... as in an "84 or thereabouts model ??

If the motor lasted beyond 70k miles ... it was good for 200k.

Great little units ... Toyota was the top 4x4 seller back then ... and the little 4x4 Subie ... which everybody - except their owners - dissed on .... was the second biggest seller .. :smiley-laughing021:

Mine had a 2" lift and Puegot rims to fit bigger tyres. I bought it new coz Jeep had bailed of Aust and I couldnt get an XJ ..

A real good condition Subaru Brumby ute, (baby sports truck to you fellas ;)) can still fetch up to $8k ..

I had an XT,the sports car that would get an instant 2.5" lift kit at the touch of a button and had an LCD video game dash

What you haven't seen their commercials, where they drive down a mixture of light rain and dirt road then just happen to pull into a parade? I mean that's as good as Rubicon rated isn't it?!?!?!?

They are amazing. I have always had one for years. One time it snowed at sea level in OR. My friend, a traveling salesman of sorts (OK the jokes come later) stayed the night at my place and said he needed his Subie. I said OK, lets do it. So off we went to Coquille, about 200 mi away. We got his Subie and headed back to my place doing about 55 on the mountain roads. When we hit the interstate we were doing about 60 on the ice in the fast lane. I passed a trooper waiting with chains on. When I got past him, he flipped the lights on. Then Digger passed him and he knew he could not catch us with chains on. He just flipped he lights off and stayed put.
