This xj started life as a 2wd 4.0, then it got a mildly build 355 chevy and a 400T. This weekend I got the 410 D30 and a 4in lift and 31's installed, I also got the 350T dropped off at the tranny mans to get rebuilt. Hopefully I'll get the tranny back next week, install the 241, then driveshafts and a shifter and have it ready by 4th of July weekend. Sounds easy huh..:bang:

I like those gauges. Been wondering how well a set would fit in mine.

Thanks guy's, I'm also working on a TBI fuel injection setup from a BBC chevy. I'm just not a big fan of a carb, Here's some pics of a s10 I did a couple years ago.

Then I swapped it over to TBI

Then I found a cherry s10 blazer body, so I put Jeep axles under it and swapped the drivetrain over to it (truck body was alittle rough)

My wife has turned this jeep into a her DD since I lifted it, she loves driving it everyday... Get's good gas mileage, so I'm not sure I'll get anything else done to it this summer, The tranny is rebuilt and the 241 t-case is apart and waiting on the adapter.

Nice Tj, definatly alot harder to do multiport than carb. I'm getting around 16-18 it's all country driving, very little city and no iterstate. Im not sure the SBC chevy knows the xj is wrapped around it....LOL
