That is a very good looking Jeep. Good score. I would look at upgrading that tie rod to the v8 zj tie rod if you plan on wheeling though. Those stock ones are pretty flimsy. There is a write up here with part #'s. The upgrade is less than a 100 bucks

Thanks for the heads up! something i will definitely look into.
It also has a CV driveshafts installed, and entire new cooling system, a new 160 deg. thermo, airtex computer chip, and a new system.

Future upgrades include:
-Roof mounted shovel, axe, fullsize spare tire
-front and rear bumpers w/ winch
-2nd set of wheels and tires for the woods (32"-33")
-air lockers (already have the parts)
-TC drop kit
-ZJ tie rod (;

I'm on a tight budget because i'm only 17!

Yeah i'm not a fan on the brush guard either, i'll be changing it for a nice winch bumper

Great lookin Jeep!! I think most of us are on a budget... I'm on the "Honey, are you SURE we don't have enough money left over after your hair appointment to buy gas?" budget...

I'm just messin! But yeah, Play money is tough to come up with, and it doesn't seem to get much better with age!

Before I started even the lift, I was digging around for things I could do to my XJ. I remember finding this and thinking how great it looked.

Years later (after learning stuff) I looked at it and had several problems with it. The brush guard was the biggest.

Have to admit though... from the angle of the pic, the brush guard doesn't look too horrible! Not a huge fan of lund visors either, but again, pic angle does wonders!

yeah ... the brush guard is a bit ... errrrrr ??? ... ummmm ??? ... decorative ??? ... compared to the one in the pic Mudderoy posted .... :D

Still ..... if you only need to protect the paint from little branches and airborne squirrels whilst on a trail ... its probably ideal .. ;)

Very clean & tidy looking XJ tho ...

No it does look good to me as well, but after seeing what the Jeeps do off road, a brush guard is well very mild and likely to be bent or ripped completely off. It's a sign of a street rig.

I'd never want to have a street rig..... especially being a red jeeper :rolleye0012: :D
