4.10s work well with the 31s. I have them currently.

A 265/75/15 is a 31x10.50 so it shouldn't have made a difference and that size wasn't stock either.

yeah a 265 is pretty much a 31... I didnt regear all the way through 36 inch tires...I drove from north dallas to houston...bout 300 miles on the 3:55 gears and really didnt have a noticeable problem! but I DID recently make the switch to 5:13 gears when I did my dana 60 swap... it was kinda interesting to notice such a little difference in performance... then I realized that I added about 400 additional lbs... thats the difference between the d30/35 combo and the dana 50/60 axles

Im still on stock 3.55 gears with 33's and it does fine. But Texas is pretty flat, atleast where I am.

I was on 3.55s for a long time with 31's and then even 33s. But when i went to 4.56 with 33s...AWWWW the difference was wonderful!

If you ever think that you are going to go to 33s, just get 4.56s now. Dont waste your money on 4.10s then turn right around and have to do it again once you go to 33s.

I knew I was eventually going to 33's so I looked it up on a chart and found 4.10 as the suggested gears. I checked around and everyone told me to go one step higher, or lower depending on how you look at it. So I got 4.56 gears.

4.56 is good for 35's. I regeared when I still had the 32's. I went from struggling up mild overpasses, to having no issues at all. My top end suffered, as 95 mph seemed to be the limit now.

I have 33's on it now, and I didn't notice any real difference. Perhaps a small drop in rpms. I have noticed the few times I have been off road driving up over and through things is extremely easy, as in just a little skinny petal.

For the highway it would be nice to have the 4.10 gears, but over all I'm very happy with the 4.56. It also increased my mpg about 2 mpg city driving.

I wish I could have afforded 4.88s

Also, if you are doing more offroading, going up and down hills, more down hills, it really helps to have the deeper gears(numerically higher)
