I've read it's a waste especially on the 97+ (OBDII)

From my honda experiance, you can't just buy a "tuner" for a obd1 car. Its all has to be hooked up to products like Chrome. Obd2 you can hook tuners up to the obd2 port and do what ya gotta do. Most vehicles went obd2 in 96 or 97. I think a tuner would help you out with a automatic so you can change shift points and what not. I've never messed around with them except in deisels. I always jumperd my car from obd2 to obd1 for better tuning abilities. When you tune a car, your "tricking" the computer into think one thing and another. Obd1 is more easly "tricked" but, you have to know what your doin and have the equipment for it.

But, yes a tuner does have benifits if its an actual quality one.

I have the edge sestem and I as far as mpg 1 to 2 not worth the money it does give you more throutle respons.I do like the way it just pug and go so i can unpug it and I'm back to stock with a bigger thotalbody.As for the price I wouldn't buy one I won this one so it is ok.
