Mini H1 Military Build...

I'm thinking, my next shop build will be a Military, 1st generation slant back H1 build based on an Xj.....not over lifted, wide stance, right down to the door handles and hood insert........considering paint gun barrels in the fender flares if possible....

It's going to be more for fun than anything else.......any thoughts?
I have 2 XJ's to work with, both pre 97.

I like the idea of splitting the unibody. That is one of the really cool looking features of the H1 is how wide it is. Boy that would be a lot of sheet metal work though.

There is also a wide CJ7 I have seen before but can't find pictures now.
