A/C - only comes out on the bottom

Your answer on this one makes a big difference in my answer. But, just to be sure, make sure you have good vacuum to the controls.

What rear differential do you have now?

The 97 and up 8.25 is a good choice and cheap. Bolts in too.

Chrysler 8.25 axle would be for the rear only. Dana 30 would be for the front.

Just to confuse things you can have a Dana 44 front or rear, of course one you can steer the other you cannot, but they are both called Dana 44 :bang: :rotfl2:

i found a tag on the back one and it have a 35 on it

D35 is a common axle and is used on many Cherokees. It is OK for light wheeling but will not stand up to very large tires and it gets even worse with a locker. So do as 4.3 suggests and swap in a 8.25 Chryco axle/
