I got a Power Aid throttle body spacer. I had a full size Bronco that I installed one on and my mpg went from 8 to 12 and better throttle responce. So here is a little write up

First remove the air intake

Then remove the throttle body and the bracket that holds the throttle cable

Then install the spacer

Then inshttp://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m470/GregKnowles/Picture196.jpgtall the throttle cable bracket spacers

Put the air intake back on.

This took about 30 min. to do.

Just went for a test ride much better throttle responce. Don't really care about an increese in mpg but if it helps I'm down with it.

If you are keeping up with your mpg, we should would like to know if it makes a difference!

Thanks for the write up!

It will be interesting to see if the mpg goes up

I guess it really depends on if there is a air restriction to the engine or now.

It's not a dd so I don't have a base line to compare to. I will check mpg next time I fill up to see what it is now. I think the PO told me it was 10 mpg. It's going to be awhile as little as I drive it I can go a month with out filling up.

How it works look at the first pic and you will see groves on the inside of the spacer. They are like threads on a bolt they say getting that swirl of gas and air is how it helps.
