Hey guys,
This is my first post and I'm just looking for some feedback. I am considering buying this jeep tonight (see link below). I will be putting my wife and 7 month old daughter in it for a couple of years and I'm looking for something reliable and safe. Any opinions would be great. I called the guy and he said that all of the work has been done by a mechanic and that the only thing wrong is that the cruise control and horn are not working (no big deal). Thanks

Mileage isn't bad, it looks clean. Take it for a drive and then offer $3500.

I like how the craigslist poster said he was "A VERY MATICULAS GUY" but I guess not in regards to spell check.

If it were me, I'd take it for a test drive, and offer him $3500 like said before.. Def looks like a clean XJ.

Depending on your mechanical / Cherokee knowledge , have your mechanic look at it , put it on a hoist, look for paint lines or over spray on parts that shouldn't be painted, panel fitment ect. Pop the hood look for OEM manf. stickers.

but from a pic looks good

Horn & Cruise are most likely the clock spring. Usually they go out when the airbags deploy or if you unhook the steering shaft that goes to the steering box and turn the steering wheel too far one direction.
