Stalling while driving..... cps?

recently my 99 cherokee 4.0 has been stalling while driving down the road around 35 miles an hour or 2000 rpm. sometimes its stalls while idling though. at first it would start right away but today it stalled three times and one of the times it wouldnt start for almost 30 minutes and had to hook a jumper pack up too it. im guessing the crankshaft position sensor but what do yall think?

that or the tps...is it shifting ok

yeah it shifts fine. sometimes it will miss really bad and almost stall and other times it just randomly stalls

Is it coughing on acceleration?

replaced the cps today, runs fine now. i guess thats all it was.
