hey i have an 01 cherokee with 33"s. going to be upgrading the shocks just wondering if its worth it to do the stabilizer at the same time? will it make a noticeable difference? I found a rough country one with a dual setup for $95. thank you

The only real reason for the steering stabilizer is to help some minor death wobble if your rig is prone to it. However, it will only do a partial job of it. If your front end components are loose, even dual stabilizers won't help. If you need to spend money, make sure the track bar bushing is tight, or better replace it with a poly bushing just cuz. Check all your other bushings for play and make sure your steering box is adjusted properly and save that $95 and some other headaches.

ah i see well thats good to know. Ive never had death wobble so i dont think thats an issue. everything else in front is tight. i only ask because its the factory stock one and has never been replaced. since im doing all 4 shocks is it still worth it to buy a new one that isnt a fancy dual one?

mines lifted 6.5" on 33's with stock stabilizer. Has never had death wobble because of it.

A stock replacement is good enough

I don't even have one on mine. If your steering is right it's not necessary. It just makes it a bit more cushy.

I like the RC dual stabilizer, look, but personally I just think it's a gimmick. :rolleye0012:
