We typically don't get that many in one storm system. Most of the time they only hit rural areas where I am but you may see a funnel cloud go over every now and then. Lot of the storm damage we get is from hail or high winds.

Find some storm chasers who can turn it into a sensor deployment vehicle like in Twister, just don't tell the insurance company :D

Bad weather in our area today, it was pretty localized though. This was from Alvin, TX.

We had hail like that a while back insrance companys hated it, big pay outs and car dealers had to discount all the new cars cus they were damaged. Bad deal all the way around. Glad all are ok though

All is good here, just had some nickle sized hail at the house. Was on "lock down" at work for about an hour or so.

Went through part of Arlington today. Saw a couple down trees and signs, nothing too bad. BUT, while going the road i saw this.

I know, the pic sucks. Anyways about 100 feet over the road this 18? feet sheet of corrugated metal was hung on a power line like a towel on a rack.
