While we're on the topic... Is there somewhere on the alt that shows the output like a sticker or a plate with the specs? I looked at a few in the jy the other day and couldn't find anything to indicate the amperage. Maybe I just missed it somewhere.

I have not seen that info on any alt even new. Some rebuilders will sometimes record output after bench testing. I have seen this upgrade before and my rebuilder suggested it because i will be running a winch and lights. So nows the time. Pulled it apart tonight and modify bracket tomorrow.
