Here is my shop. I built it in 2002 to work on my Corvette project, but have since taken on several other projects. Right now I am working on my daughter's XJ which I have located just outside the shop under tarps.

:)

I had always wanted a garage with the 24 inch checker squares, so when I had it built, I painted the floor before I moved anything in. At first it gave me the incentive to keep the garage clean, but it does not do that for me anymore. These pics were taken a few years ago when I did keep it clean..... looks a little more cluttered and not so clean now.

At least you have a two car garage. I only have a single car on my house and it isn't big enough to do anything I would want on the jeep in it. Doesn't help that my drive way has a slope to it either. I drive all the way back to work at night/weekends to work on it if it takes longer than 15 - 20 minutes so I can work in the a/c warehouse.

My garage works well enough.... At least I can fit the Jeep in there. It's a bit crowded though....
Got too much "storage" type stuff in there now too.
If I could get a little shed out in the backyard, that would free up a TON of space.
Right no its the two-bar-stool-table-breakfast-nook-set-thingy, the Foosball table, a dresser, my motorcycle, and all the yard/garden equipment that is taking up all the free space.

Well, I have a attached garage....that you can't put a car in. XJ won't clear the doors with 33's.

I mainly end up using it to store my tools and benches until I can build a real shop.:P

I've realized you can't have a real shop in an attached garage, because it becomes the dumping ground for everything not wanted in the house.

This was last year...

Got a few comments from folks down here - when the oversized sardine can was going up,

... about it being a double garage ... with only one, central door entry.

Well obviously .... The main reason is,

... That one needs lots of walk around space, to unload the groceries when its raining ...

I thought I had a decent workspace but I have to rough it, and walk all the way to the house to get a cold beer in my shop. You know its bad when your mother-in-law asks your wife why she does not park in the garage "like your father and I do..", and your wife bursts out laughing.

I keep saying that if I can get a shop, she can have the attached garage to actually park in.

But I think the body lift just messed that up for her now....unless she wants the roof rack removed.

Unfortunately he has to use them to work on customers cars

I need a new shop so I can have one of those. I had a sky crane in my old one that was almost as handy

I'd love to have a shop, or heck even a two + car garage so I have room to store tools and still be able to work on my rides.. But would def love to have a lift for sure!!
