Hi XJTalk.com

Been a few years since I had to sell off my first project. Good news we're back!
Just got a 94 xj sport pretty clean be ordering a 4.5 inch RC lift for it in a week
or so.
Then hoping to get out and meet a few of you ppl doing some wheeling.
Plans are to be done in time for Buchanans Mudfest that the gf loves so much.

Took her a few years back in the kids mod'ed TJ. Well she loved it. LOL
Created a mudpuddle monster she goes way out of her way to drive through
water, mud, ditches, and anything else she thinks the wore out yj can handle.
She still has trouble with the phrase "when in doubt FLOOR IT" but that could
be aa good thing.

Been trolling your forums for a while, I like the looks of the xj's. Been wanting
one for a while now. This time got one running in decent shape for the cheap.

well time for work, look forward to chatting with everyone

Thanks Bill

:welcome: to xjtalk!! As far as running 31's, I would just stick with the stock 3.55's, but that is just me. I'm running 33's on the stock gears and haven't had too much issue (although once I can afford it I plan to hit up some 4.56 gears..), so you should be fine on 31's with the stock gears.. gives you more money for other wants/upgrades!!

They were great, I recently moved to 33x12.5x15 though.

Wants and upgrades huh? Like lockers GF says what are lockeres, I explain,
she says "Oh yes we need those...."

Know if only I could trust her to wrench while I was at work.

Having the woman in your life liking to wheel with you is a real advantage. Like the day mine said "Go get yourself a good winch". So I did. But as far as gears go, you cannot beat 4.10 for good all around gears for 31s
