what clutches are you guys running? im looking to get a new clutch but not sure what brand type to purchase. also is it worth getting a HD clutch? also i have a 1988 XJ with a BA10/5 Peugeot transmission. auto zone use to have a HD clutch but it was removed from production.

You cannot go wrong with Centerforce. I have the Centerforce 2 in my pickup and love it. The pedal is much easier to push than with the stock clutch and it has more grab.

I agree with Steve, Centerforce is the way to go for our rigs with manual tranny's

I like Centerforce too but they are not the cheapest.

LUK clutches seem to get good reviews. Thats what I used in my 90 MJ plow rig.

Yup. I've been running a Luk HD clutch for the last 34k miles. The pedal feel is about the same as stock and the action is smooth. The Centerforce dual friction is also very good from what I've heard.
