Thank you! I am new too the XJ world! By new I mean I just bought my first XJ yesterday! I was a previous TJ owner and decided I want a full body instead! I have a 92 XJ with an 8" lift sitting on 33'' Bighorns (for now) She has a 4.0L power plant, the engine and trans are out of a 95 Cherokee. Np 231 T-case, I'm not sure of the trans yet just know it's a 4sp auto. 8.25 chrysler open rear diff, Dana 35 front with a powertrax locker. She needs some work and she isn't the prettiest but that's ok, alittle TLC and she will do just fine for me.

:welcome: to xjtalk! You know I think it is pretty neat that a vehicle that hasn't been made in well going on 13 years, has so many NEW owners!

The XJ, and well the CJ, YJ, and TJ remind me of that gum commercial where people come by and rough up the person chewing the gum so they'll have to put another piece in their mouth! Why because the company needs to sell more gum! :rotfl2:

Our Jeeps do require maintenance and the XJs have some limitations but out of the 14 years I've owned mine it has left me stranded 2 times! And those 2 times have been with in the last 2 years. Amazing vehicle!

:welcome:to xjtalk and the addiction that is the Cherokee.. The trans would be the AW4, not a bad unit. Mine has only left me stranded twice, once being the dual 4.0 issue of the crank position sensor, and the second the worn the hell out water pump letting loose on my way to work.. So overall not a bad deal for the age of it.. Cant wait to see pics of your rig, sounds like you have a good start for an awesome rig.
